Why Do They Take So Long To Pay?

During her time as an expert witness, Jacqueline Bugden, formerly Jacqueline Siner, developed specific resources for use in court work. Over time she will make these available to others.  This paper is available free by clicking on the link below.  In it Jacqueline offers advice on the thorny problem of getting paid.

Reasons

This assessment measure was designed by Jacqueline to assist in private law assessments of a child’s attitude towards contact with a non-resident parent.  This measure has undergone a validation exercise, led by Professor Kevin Woods, Programme Director of the Doctorate programme at Manchester University.

Professor Woods says:

Jacqueline has extensive experience as an expert practitioner psychologist in casework, training and supervision in public and private family law, including care proceedings and contact disputes. Her breadth of knowledge, insight and communication skills in the field are nationally recognized as being second to none.

Reasons is an innovative interview technique that can help practitioner psychologists to understand why a child or young person expresses a reluctance to have contact with a parent. Reasons has been successfully trialled by practitioner psychologists and found to be a most valuable part of a comprehensive assessment.

Reasons will be launched at the Contact Dispute course 17th February and all who attend the course will receive a copy.  After that date, Reasons will be available to buy at a cost of £55 (incl p & p).
